Monday morning is always a tough one to rally for especially after the beatdown we had on Saturday (thank you, Kornikova). A dedicated few took the red pill and crawled out of their fart sacks to start the week off right.
As soon as Teach figured out the shovel flag was not at the track but in front of the middle school, he moseyed over to meet the Pax with one minute to spare.
Warm up
Mosey around tennis courts over to the practice field beside the track.
SSH, sun gods, YTWL, can openers, one foot oh sh%ts, Al Gores, Cotton Pickers
Workout:: Four Corners: 1-mile run, 100 merkins, 100 squats, 60 burpees, 100 LBC
4 laps around the track, mosey the straights and sprint the curves. Stop at each corner for sets of:
25 Merkins
25 squats
15 burpees
25 LBC
QIC, came up lame after the first 2 burpees tweaking back for a bout of recurring sciatica. Modified workout but the PAX kept me going.
3-16 even worked in some recruiting during the workout trying to inspire a runner on the track to join us next week.
Mosey back to shovel flag before the storm clouds could overtake us. Finished with a quick namarama and BOM (thank you, Bo). AYE!!
