YHC woke at 4:30 after a deep slumber aided by Ny-Quil to combat the cough and muscle aches from the day before. On my way to the track, I ran past a neighbor who informed me the track was resurfaced over the weekend and might be closed. Sure enough, when I got to the track there was caution tape around and across the track. I quickly had to recalibrate my plans for the workout as 200’s and 400’s were out of the question. I turned focus to the football field and set up lighted pylons and met the PAX at the shovel flag.

Typical disclaimer was given at 0530 and we went on a long mosey (passing Mariah as he rucked in). The “Q”-drenaline got to me and I lost half the PAX.  Bo retrieved the lost members and then a circle up for a warm-up

Cotton Pickers x 20 IC

Imperial Walkers x 20 IC

Teach Can-Opener stretches both legs

Then on to the field for the thang:

100-yd sprints x 6 (10-count rest in between)

Circle up for some Mary consisting of:

Flutter kicks x 20 IC

World War One’s x 25

Freddie Mercury’s x 20 IC

Back to the goal line then 50-yd sprints x 10 (6-count rest in-between)

Circle up for the following:

Hand-release merkins x 10 IC

LBC’s x 25 IC

Knee-up merkins x 10 each leg OYO

Back to the goal line, then 50-yd sprints x 6 (3-count rest in-between)

Then mosey to the tennis courts

Circle up for an ab-exercise combining V-crunches with American hammers (heels off ground entire time) x 15 IC

Then divide into two-teams of 6 for Bear Crawl Inch Worm the entire distance from fence to fence covering all 4 tennis courts

Next, circle up for protractors

Lastly, merkins to failure OYO

Then mosey to shovel flag where PAX planked up until the Six arrived.

Finally, Name-o-rama and BOM, Crossgrain shared that he ran into Ripcord at an event for parents with children with Down’s Syndrome. How great our God is to bring people together!! Bo led us in prayer as we prayed for Bumper’s brother and Mariah and Mogul’s father.
