This morning was chilly, it was gloomy, it was just not easy to wake up. But some of the strongest men I know did. We gathered around The American Flag as the wind blew it in all its glory and had some mumble chatter. This was the calm before the storm.
0530 snuck up on us and the Q gave our F3 disclaimer stating he was not a professional by any means of the word and that it was time to make leaders out of the men who came.
We grabbed out bands, we grabbed our blocks and we took a little stroll down crossgrains memory lane.
There we had some tractor tires that we were instructed to flip over 10 parking spaces. While one PAX did that the rest of us did over head presses with the blocks. Then when everyone had a turn flipping tires we circled up did block protractors, block Merkins, block press WW1’s, band front raises, band side raises, and band overhead presses.
When we had enough of this we went to the tires with blocks in hand. We then have 25 minutes of tires fights. One PAX stood toe to toe with another PAX and pushed tires at each other until we couldn’t do it anymore. While doing so the rest of the PAX did front raises and overhead presses with the blocks. This is where all men became leaders as not just one PAX called
the workout all did. They took turns being the leader. Did this until 0614 returned to the flag a couple minutes late due to stowing away our blocks circled up and had some prayer requests and crossgrain lead us out in prayer after we had count-a-Rama and name-a-Rama.
