AO: Whine Man’s Hill
When: 0530-0615
Who: Teach (QIC), Mariah, Mogul, Grovetucky, Ball Bearing, Francis, Rash
Preparing the night before to lead is always a little intimidating, I always want to give my best in a way that pushes the PAX, pushes me and leaves everyone feeling tired in a good way without overdoing it.
I drafted a loose plan to give me flexibility to add or subtract based on the AO and how many PAX show up.
Today I rolled in at the #1 spot, surprised and wondering if I was going to be the only one. Not to worry, ole Francis came in not too long after.
Still sore from the day before (thank you Mogul) I decided we need a good long mosey.
Warm up: Mosey up to the fire station and back down, then back up again. COP for some sun gods, stevie wonders (my go to), the teach and slow and smooth cotton pickers. Onto some speed skaters to get us ready for the Winter Olympics and then into the snow bank for 4 rounds of planks – until the fireman in the firehouse came outside giving us the stare down.
Workout: Indian run down to the rock wall, lateral one leg lunges on t he wall, mosey to picnic tables for 5 rounds of 10 dips, squats and derkins. Then on the line for some forward sprints, backward sprints and 25 squats and 10 merkins. Finish with one long sprint and slow stretching to end on. 06:15 on the dot.
Good work today pax, you made me better today. It’s always good to see you in the gloom.
YHC,
Teach
